Risograph Printing

  • Our Newest Toy: Risograph SF5130

Our new Riso SF5130 is part printer, part art machine, and 100% awesome. It uses eco-friendly soy ink drums and stencil masters to create affordable richly textured prints.

  • So, What are We Doing With it?

Once the machine is settled in, we’ll be offering rentable studio time, so you can print your own art, comics, event posters and art prints right here. Whether you’re an indie artist, small business, or design nerd, you’ll love experimenting with color, paper, and layering.

  • What the Heck is a Riso?

Born in Japan in the late 1980s, Risograph is sort of like mixing a photocopier with screenprinting. Think semi-transparent color layers, quirky imperfections, and unexpected magic — every print looks a little different, and that’s the beauty.

  • I Don't Know How to Use It

That’s totally okay. We’ve gotten support from the city of Lowell and Mosaic so we can offer hands-on workshops and demos. Follow Pop Cultured and sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when classes and workshops are scheduled. Come make something weird and wonderful with us.
